CIFA has signed the protocol of the Interinstitutional Anti-Violence Network “Nemmeno con un fiore”, further strengthening its commitment to preventing and combating gender-based violence and all forms of discrimination.
The signing of the protocol marks CIFA’s entry into a structured network involving institutions, local organizations, and associations, with the shared goal of promoting a culture based on respect, inclusion, and the protection of individuals. The agreement was formalized during a meeting that brought together both existing members of the Network and new signatories, during which the main action lines planned for the coming year were also shared. The Network is supported by Regione Lombardia, while the Fondazione Comunitaria Nord Milano supports the activities of the HARA Safe Houses and Anti-Violence Centers operating across several municipalities in the north-west area of the Milan province.
Through its participation in the protocol, CIFA commits to working alongside the Network and the Fondazione Comunitaria Nord Milano to support local Anti-Violence Centers and to promote awareness initiatives on gender-based violence and discrimination for the entire company workforce. CIFA will also support the Seconda Stella project, funded by the Fondazione Comunitaria Nord Milano, contributing to initiatives developed in the north-west area of the Milan province.
The initiative also includes the organization and promotion of information, training, and awareness-raising activities within the company, in collaboration with the Seconda Stella project, as well as educational actions aimed at students in lower and upper secondary schools, through initiatives held in schools or at CIFA’s headquarters. CIFA also commits to encouraging the participation of members of Assolombarda Nord Ovest in the Network’s training and informational activities, helping to foster a culture free from violence and discrimination.
Finally, opportunities for discussion and in-depth reflection will be dedicated to topics such as inclusive language, gender stereotypes, and visual and non-verbal communication, with the aim of strengthening awareness and promoting responsible and respectful behavior.
With this commitment, CIFA reaffirms its intention to actively contribute to building a more conscious and responsible social ecosystem, where companies, institutions, and communities work together to create shared and lasting value.
